About Open Country Farm
A working farm with donkeys, chickens and always another hands-on project, Open Country Farm is also a place of rest and renewal. Wayne and Lydia Nelson have deep roots in the Three Hills area where the wide-open spaces have always felt like home. Today that home is Open Country Farm which is tucked between Linden and Three Hills.

Open Country Store
Our auditorium comfortably seats 160 people and includes an excellent sound system that will accommodate a single presenter or a full band. Perfect for all kinds of events from corporate conferences and workshops to concerts to seminars. It also has Mens and Women's bathrooms each with a shower.

A perfect place to enjoy a meal. We can accommodate up to 9 tables with 8 people/table. It has a full food prep area including deep freezers, fridges, sinks, dishes, cutlery, coffee machines, etc. It also has audio and visual capabilities. Or, we can change things up and transform it into an indoor games space or a coffee house with live music.

Guests can enjoy our 9-hole disc golf course, horseshoe pit, volleyball court, and baseball diamond, all set among sweeping lawns. An outdoor event tent is coming soon, adding even more flexibility for celebrations and special occasions. And of course, our friendly donkeys are always a favourite, adding a little extra charm to the farm experience.
