Open Country Weddings

Where Your Wedding Begins

Your wedding day deserves more than a venue.

It deserves a setting that feels expansive, intentional, and deeply personal.

At Open Country Farm, celebration begins long before the ceremony. It begins the moment you turn down the long driveway and the world quiets behind you. It begins in golden prairie light, in open sky, in the feeling that this place was waiting for you.

Whether you envision vows beneath an endless horizon, an elegant indoor ceremony, or a seamless blend of both, the space adapts to your vision without ever losing its character. Our newly renovated indoor spaces offer warmth, clarity, and presence. Step outside, and the countryside unfolds — rolling land, wide sky, and the kind of backdrop that makes photographs feel timeless.

From the first arrival to the final farewell, your celebration is supported with quiet confidence and care. The details are held thoughtfully so you can remain present — with each other, with your guests, and with the moment itself.

This is not simply where weddings are hosted.

It is where they are remembered.

We invite you to experience it in person.

Outdoor Spaces

There is something unforgettable about exchanging vows beneath an open prairie sky — where the horizon stretches endlessly behind you and the light feels softer, slower… magical.

At Open Country Farm, the outdoors doesn’t simply frame your ceremony — it becomes part of it. Across the property, a number of distinct outdoor locations offer couples the opportunity to choose the setting that feels most like their own. Whether it’s an open expanse with panoramic views, a more tucked-away grove, or a space that captures golden evening light just right, each wedding can unfold in a way that feels entirely personal.

Auditorium

Step inside and the celebration becomes more intimate. The auditorium was designed to hold a room well — soft light, polished lines, and sound that fills the space without overpowering it. Seating up to 120 guests comfortably, it allows your closest people to gather around you without the space ever feeling crowded. It is where music swells, speeches resonate, and every word is heard clearly. A refined setting that adapts seamlessly from ceremony to reception, always feeling warm, never overwhelming.

Kitchen

Thoughtfully renovated and designed with weddings in mind, our residential-style kitchen offers a beautifully supportive space that enhances the flow of your celebration.

For caterers, it provides seamless behind-the-scenes preparation with ample prep space and professional-grade functionality. For couples and guests, it can transform effortlessly — hosting an intimate rehearsal dinner, a relaxed cocktail hour, late-night coffee service, or a morning-after brunch with those closest to you.

With comfortable seating for up to 60 guests, the space feels welcoming and connected, yet distinct enough to create its own atmosphere within the larger celebration.

Located directly beside the Auditorium, the kitchen allows your wedding to move naturally from ceremony to reception, from dinner to dancing — without disruption, without congestion, and without losing the warmth of the moment.

It is not simply a prep space.

It is part of the rhythm of your wedding day.

Modern bedroom with white wooden walls and ceiling, black metal bed frame with white bedding and black-and-white pillows, three black botanical art pieces on the wall, wooden ladder leading to a loft, nightstand with a lamp and small plant, striped rug on the floor, and a window with curtains.

When the music softens and the last guests begin their goodbyes, the night doesn’t have to end.

Instead of packing up and traveling elsewhere, simply step away from the celebration and into your own private cabin on the farm. Here, the pace slows naturally. The sky stretches wide above you, the prairie settles into quiet, and the two of you are finally alone together.

Morning arrives gently. Coffee in hand, you step outside to open air, soft light across the fields, and the feeling that the world has paused just long enough for you to take it in.

No check-in desks. No late-night travel. No city noise.

Just space, stillness, and the beginning of married life exactly where your celebration began.
